FRENCH TOAST SAUSAGE ROLL UPS RECIPE BY ANDRELLA'S BLOG

Even if you can't have breakfast although, this meal is easy to make and you can pack it along with you, you can also have this as a snack for your kids on outings like picnics and the movies.
French toast is made when you take a slice of bread and heat it up in a butter-greased pan. This can be enjoyed with a glass of warm milk or tea. Now the French toast sausage roll ups aren't far from the ordinary French toast, just another interesting way to have your toast.
The quantity of ingeridents in this recipe can serve 8 people and it tales a total of 10 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients
10 slices bread  , white or wheat sandwich bread
10 sausage links , cooked
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. Slice crust off of the bread then use a rolling pin or your hands to flatten the bread. 
  2. Place a sausage link on the front edge of the bread and roll up tightly.
  3. Preheat griddle or skillet over medium heat. Grease well with butter.
  4. To a shallow dish add the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and flour.
  5. Dip sausage roll ups into the egg mixture, rolling gently to coat all sides, and place on hot griddle or greased pan 
  6. Cook for a few minutes, turning gently as you go, until golden brown on all sides. Serve warm, served with maple syrup or jam of your choice.
  7. Refrigerate the remaining and you can microwave when ready to eat.
