At least 40 females have been arrested by the police in a popular hotel in Lagos, as they were got ready to be initiated into a cult group. According to reports, the suspects were arrested with their male counterparts making the total number of suspects to about 120. The cult group known as Black Axe embarked on the recruitment of both male and female members and had planned that day for their initiation. It was gathered that the suspects had gathered under the guise of celebrating birthday unknown to them that the police got intelligence report of their activity as members of Black Axe and immediately stormed the place. They were rounded up and arrested them while others escaped.
